Looking to experience your own spring awakening? You can start by letting go of old patterns that no longer serve you, such as negative thought patterns and self-talk. Spring is the perfect time to clear out the emotional clutter that may be holding you back. May this spring offer you a fresh, new canvas for you to paint your greater dreams and desires for healthier living and self-honoring practices that nourish your body, mind, and spirit. Here are some ways to manifest self-love in this season of new beginnings.

1. Commit to a simple yet actionable practice of movement each day. Walking, yoga, or some other aerobic exercise can help increase vitality and strengthen your mind and body. Consider your body your temple and think of it as a finely tuned instrument for your highest creative expression of life.

2. Harness your monkey mind. Your thoughts create experiences and emotional outcomes. A positive mindset is a creative force for greater wellbeing and harmony.

3. Embrace your feelings, and nourish your emotional resilience. Denying feelings creates depressive energy in our minds and bodies. We can build emotional resilience through healthy habit practices with pure essential oils and other mindful practices.

4. Commune with nature. The natural world offers a rich and diverse sense of solace, strength, and beauty that can be found through simplicity. If you’re not able to go for a hike, swim, or forest bath, create a ritual involving plants, crystals, and pure essential oils to comfort and inspire all your senses.

5. Connect with spirit. Expand your connection to the infinite spirit, and elevate your ability to attract abundance by setting an intention to be open to the universe.

To inspire more joy, you can also incorporate this simple five-minute smile meditation each day.

  • Make yourself comfortable.
  • Place a drop of your favorite essential oil on the left palm of your hand and take a deep breath in.
  • Invite your intention to connect with the infinite spirit within you.
  • As you inhale, let a big smile emerge from ear to ear.
  • On your next breath in, imagine your heart smiling. Then your mind.
  • This may feel a little funny at first. And if it does, let those giggles out.
  • Then envision your soul smiling. With each breath, your joy is expanding.
  • Then envision your organs all connecting: brain, heart, lungs, stomach, liver, adrenals, kidneys— you get the drift.
  • Keep smiling until you feel each one of your cells (at least a trillion) smiling with you. How great do you feel now?
