Healing Hotels of the World, a global brand committed to healing hospitality, will host an online masterclass on Feb. 4, focusing on the theme of “The Shift in Travel: Changing Lives Through Personal Touch.” The event is designed to educate hoteliers and travel advisors about what today’s travelers want. It will feature insight from Stacy Fischer-Rosenthal, president of Fischer Travel and CEO of Fischer-Rosenthal Consulting, and Kathy Van Ness, COO and general manager of California’s famed Golden Door Resort.
“Now more than ever, travelers want to feel confident in their plans, and secure in their safety,” says Anne Biging, co-founder of Healing Hotels of the World. “They need to know in advance what to expect and to be guided through the new travel process. The only way forward is to provide listening, empathy, and personal touch, and our two expert speakers will help you to understand the best way to do that in these uncertain times.”
Valerie Smaldone, a multiple award-winning radio personality from New York, will host the masterclass in conversation with Rosenthal-Fischer, Van Ness, and Biging.
Rosenthal-Fischer has spent more than 39 years working with luxury travelers and is full of insight as to what this discerning segment is looking for. She currently sits on the Advisory Boards of Aman Hotels, Resorts & Residences, Belmond Hotels & Resorts, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International Luxury Brands (MILUX), Park Hyatt Hotels, Preferred Hotels & Resorts, the Cornell Pillsbury Institute for Hospitality Entrepreneurship, and Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. Her participation in an array of forums has her at the forefront when expertise is sought. Van Ness brings three decades of C-Level experience in managing luxury businesses, and she is also deeply passionate about creating a better world.
