My kids are huge fans of bath bombs. They love nothing more than a soothing bath, complete with a fragrant bath bomb added to the mix. As they’ve gotten older and busier, they tend to shower more than soak. Yet their love of bath bombs has not faded, so when they saw the three bags of Radiant Rhino Shower Steamers in my bathroom, they quickly volunteered to test them out. The verdict? Two very enthusiastic thumbs up. I love the steamers because they are nowhere near as messy as bath bombs. They fill the shower with an incredible scent and rinse away as soon as the shower is done. My kids loved the aromatherapy experience of a bath bomb but with the convenience of a shower. And we each had a favorite fragrance. My high-energy son loved Elevate, which offers a citrusy mix of tangerine, orange, and tea tree essential oils; my daughter, who battles allergies, loved Breathe, which is infused with peppermint and eucalyptus essential oils; and I preferred Tranquility, lavender-infused steamers that promoted relaxation and were perfect right before bed. We went through three bags in less than a week, and it’s clear that these steamers will become a regular part of our shower experience.

Dry winter weather is a recipe for dehydrated skin and the season when I switch from body lotion to oil. It smells heavenly and absorbs quickly, so it doesn’t stain towels or clothing. I have been using it daily and loving the results. I often find that my mind races at bedtime, and I wake up in the middle of the night and struggle to go back to sleep. Over the last few months, I’ve gotten out of the habit of working out. In the summer and early fall, I was actively using my Peloton and playing a weekly pickleball game with a group of women in my neighborhood. But as temperatures dropped, I quickly fell into hibernation mode and have been less active than I’d like. When I heard about these functional socks that boost energy, I was happy to give them a try. Available in a variety of colors and styles for men and women, the socks feature NASA-inspired infrared technology in the form of nanoparticles woven right into the yarn. This converts body heat into infrared energy that is designed to help feet feel more energized and to optimize performance, stamina, and recovery. After several weeks off, I wore the socks to get back on the Peloton wagon. They were comfy, padded in the right places, and moisture-wicking, and it felt good to get back into exercise mode. As someone with a larger bust, I have a hard time finding strapless bras that provide the support needed for me to feel comfortable. Backless and strapless? Forget about it. That is until I was introduced to the Gatherall Backless Strapless Bra, which is made with medical-grade adhesive silicone. First, it’s offered in a variety of sizes from A to DD, a cup size that can lift a 10-pound watermelon. They are also waterproof, so they can be used with a swimsuit or for a workout. And they are available in a variety of colors to look good on a variety of skintones. While I have yet to use mine in the pool, I did wear it with a holiday party dress that required a strapless bra, and I was impressed. It stayed put, and I was able to dance the night away without fidgeting with an ill-fitting strapless bra. It is also washable and can be worn up to 30 times. Before even sampling this kit, which includes the Almond Shea Glow Butter and Safflower Glow Oil, I was intrigued by the story of the brand. uQueen Organics is an organic, vegan skincare brand featuring products made with ingredients sourced ethically from Bali. It’s also a BIPOC, female-founded small business. So, I was excited to sample the tropical benefits and was impressed by the results. The Almond Shea Glow Butter relieves dryness and the appearance of stretch marks and scars, while the Safflower Glow Oil further hydrates. I suggest using them together for the ultimate in moisturization. Also, be sure to rub them in your palms before application to combine them and to warm them up for the most effective application. I found it also worked most effectively when applied after a shower or bath.
