This fall, Rosewood Schloss Fuschl invites guests to embrace the changing seasons on the shores of Austria’s Lake Fuschl with two intimate wellness retreats rooted in movement, nature, and meaningful connection. Taking place this October and November, the multi-day itineraries draw inspiration from the property’s alpine setting and feature expert-led programming devoted to restoration and renewal.

“These retreats reflect the immersive approach to wellness programming we’re cultivating at the property,” says managing director Andreas Pade. “Partnering with Heidi and Susanne allows us to bring two distinct philosophies of movement and restoration, each shaped by their individual expertise. It’s a meaningful step in our broader vision for wellness, one rooted in our alpine setting and deep connection to the surrounding landscape.”

Alpine Renewal Retreat with Heidi Marie Hoelzer | October 23-25

The season opens with the Alpine Renewal Retreat, led by Heidi Marie Hoelzer, a London- and Munich-based movement teacher and hormone yoga therapist, specializing in teaching a style of yoga designed to naturally stimulate the endocrine glands and balance hormone production. The retreat begins Friday afternoon with a welcome gathering featuring freshly prepared smoothies and seasonal beverages, followed by an opening yoga session built around breathwork, grounding movement, and intention-setting. Guests then enjoy signature treatments like the Alpine Aromatherapy Experience, Regional Herbal Stamp Revitalization, and Schloss Fuschl Honey Glow at Asaya Spa before a three-course dinner celebrating local, seasonal cuisine.

Saturday opens with a morning movement session blending Pilates and yoga, followed by an herbal walk around Lake Fuschl with a local expert, who introduces guests to native alpine plants and guides them through crafting a personalized herbal salt. The day continues with a session of deep stretching and nervous-system regulation, closing with a three-course dinner. The retreat concludes with a final movement session and closing circle for reflection.

The two-night retreat includes overnight accommodations with rates starting at $2,170.

Alpine Restoration Retreat with Susanne Kaufmann | November 20-22

As the weather begins to cool, the Alpine Restoration Retreat, developed with Susanne Kaufmann, founder of the Austrian skincare brand that bears her name, offers guests a second path to renewal. The retreat opens Friday with a welcome aperitif hosted by Kaufmann herself.

Saturday begins with a guided walk, introducing guests to alpine plants and traditional regional remedies, followed by a hands-on session crafting a bespoke body scrub from local salt and herbs. A light lunch follows in the Grüner Salon, before guests join Kaufmann for an intimate masterclass on winter skincare rituals and hands-on application techniques. The day closes with a four-course gala dinner in the Glas Salon. The retreat concludes Sunday with an energizing yoga session to awaken the body before departure.

The two-night retreat includes overnight accommodations with rates starting at $2,205.
