Amanyara, set on the shores of an 18,000-acre nature preserve in Turks & Caicos, is an ideal destination for sports and recreation with its outdoor tennis courts, full-size soccer field, professional boxing studio, and host of wellness activities. In celebration of its 15th anniversary, the resort has launched its Amanyara Legends program, which features a series of clinics throughout the year with various sports icons.
After a successful two-day clinic led by tennis champion Maria Sharapova in February, the folks at Amanyara are looking for a repeat performance with the Bryan Brothers, renowned doubles players, set to be in residence at the resort from April 2 to 7, 2021. While there, they’ll lead guests through drills, practice, and match play. Considered one of the most successful tennis duos of all time, the Bryan Brothers won several Olympic medals and four Grand Slams. At Amanyara, they will work with beginners and seasoned players to improve their game. Guests can take advantage of one-hour clinics ($375 per person) held over three days, a youth clinic ($150 per child), and an intimate dinner ($600 per person) for up to six guests.
Continuing to support the local community, Amanyara will donate all proceeds from the program to benefit the Edward C. Gartland Youth Centre, a local non-profit organization. The center offers the youth of Providenciales with a range of after-school activities, encouraging children to learn, develop skills, and enjoy themselves.
The Legends program will continue throughout the year, so guests can continue to play and learn from the best. “We are delighted to be working with these supreme tennis all-stars to unveil our new Amanyara Legends program,” says Ian White, general manager, Amanyara. “With these tennis residences, we will continue to elevate the one-of-a-kind experiences that our guests desire, and we look forward to welcoming more tennis legends through the course of the year.”
