The new Wellness Suites at Andaz Fifth Avenue come with a host of wellness amenities.

Providing guests with a host of wellness-centric amenities, Andaz 5th Avenue (New York City) has launched seven new Wellness Suites (starting at $800 a night) with offerings such as The Mirror Gym by Lululemon, an Airweave mattress, and the Mini Bar RX program. “Through a series of carefully hand-selected partnerships, we are able to elevate the wellbeing journey of our guests, while increasing exposure for many local brands across the Tri-state area,” says general manager Scott Mason. “Seeing the devastation this pandemic has brought to many of those businesses has made me very proud to represent a brand like Andaz that seeks to continue to support them.” The new Wellness Suites are based on three tenets of wellbeing: Feel, Fuel, and Function.

Feel involves emotional and mental wellbeing.

It involves how your feel and incorporates amenities that affect how you sleep and experience the overall space.

Exclusive to the hotel’s Wellness Suites, each room benefits from this new innovation in sleep-surface technology for deeper more restful sleep.

  • Sleep Science Programming

The sleep experience is enhanced with lavender essential oil, a sound machine, and literature to promote quality sleep.

  • Mindfulness Meditation

A partnership with Head Space to provide complimentary, curated mindfulness and sleep exercises and a Tibetan Singing Bowl for meditation.

  • Mineral Therapy Bath Salts

Soothing bath salts can be enjoyed in the suite’s oversized soaking tubs.

An exclusively commissioned living wall art piece helps clean the surrounding air, creating a sense of wellbeing, lowering levels of anxiety, increasing attentiveness and memory, reducing stress levels, and sparking creativity.

Fuel refers to how you fuel and power your body.

Although each guest room features a complimentary mini bar incorporating tastes from the destination, the Wellness Suite mini-bars have a specific healthy take and are championed by the hotel’s executive chef, Christian Clark.

  • Complimentary Wellness Mini-Bar

A Mason Bar (a granola bar made fresh, in-house), Collagen Peptides by Vital Proteins, Brooklyn-based Fine and Raw Dark Chocolate Bar, and LesserEvil Coconut Oil Organic Popcorn. Each suite also has a selection of Harney & Son herbal tea.

  • Wellness RX Mini-Bar

Showcasing wellness-inspired add-ons that guests can purchase, it includes Mighty Gumm Immunity Gum; HRBLS Wellness Chews; Vitality Collagen Water; Gwell snack packs that provide stress, energy and Immune support; New York-based Jiant Hard Kombucha and Bronx Brewery craft beer.

  • In-Room Dining Menu

It shares key details with guests, such as which items are high in vitamin C or feature potent antioxidants.

Function focuses on how you move.

Each Wellness Suite is equipped with the following amenities, which are also available for purchase.

Guests can also take advantage of complimentary adjustable weights by Flybird, branded yoga mat and blocks, foam roller, and resistance bands to enhance the Mirror Gym workout and experience.

  • Wellness Concierge Concept
