Biologique Recherche has opened its first U.S.-based Ambassade location on Melrose Place in the heart of Los Angeles. Like the historic Biologique Recherche Ambassade on the Champs-Elysées in Paris, it is dedicated to the brand’s unique methodology, proprietary skin diagnostics, and full range of products and hyper-personalized treatments for face, body, and scalp.
The sophisticated space, which features the brand’s blue, white, and gold colors, was specially designed to accommodate the Biologique Recherche treatment protocols with a cozy elegant atmosphere combined with superb technical facilities.
The two-story Maison on Melrose Place offers:
- Six treatment rooms including five single-service rooms
- A larger VIP suite with a private entrance
- A diagnostic room equipped with the brand’s proprietary Skin Instant Lab, the VisioLab, and My Beauty DNA tools
- A hair salon for scalp treatments
- Retail space where customers can purchase the full range of Biologique Recherche products
The Biologique Recherche Ambassade, a concept created by founder Yvan Allouche, represents the pinnacle of the brand’s expertise. Like a country’s embassy, this Ambassade serves as the exclusive, exceptional representation of Biologique Recherche in the U.S.
“We have an elite international network of Biologique Recherche Ambassade locations in Europe and Asia” says Rupert Schmid, co-chairman of Biologique Recherche. “We’re proud to expand this roster with our first-ever flagship U.S. location and bring the full Biologique Recherche experience to Los Angeles.”
The interior architecture of the space was created by Joanne de Lépinay, a French designer who worked on the original Paris Ambassade, to bring the same Parisian spirit to the Ambassade in Los Angeles.
“We wanted to create a very authentic French experience with an elegant Parisian aesthetic,” says Margot Humbert, general manager of Biologique Recherche USA. “We took elements from the original Paris Ambassade to extend the authenticity of the brand and create continuity. All the millwork is custom made and the furniture is directly from Europe.”
