Celebrating Global Wellness Day in Thailand

On Saturday, June 14, 2025, Global Wellness Day (GWD) will celebrate its 14th anniversary, uniting millions across the globe in a transformative movement. Guided by the vibrant #ReconnectMagenta theme, this year’s celebration invites people of all ages to participate in free, inspiring activities-ranging from indigenous sound healing and senior walks to family camping and illumination of Istanbul’s iconic Bosphorus Bridge in magenta.

In a world increasingly defined by disconnection, digital overload, and distraction, GWD 2025 turns the spotlight inward and outward, urging humanity to rediscover the healing power of meaningful relationships. The #ReconnectMagenta is built on five interconnected pillars of holistic wellbeing.

Reconnect with Mother Nature: Every step in nature reaffirms our role as stewards of the planet, fostering harmony and balance.

Reconnect with Self: Honoring our inner needs unlocks personal growth and enduring wellbeing.

Reconnect with Family & Friends: Embrace digital detoxes to be fully present, deepening bonds and creating cherished relationships.

Reconnect with Community: Build a sense of belonging and shared purpose to nurture vibrant, supportive networks.

Reconnect with Longevity: Prioritize physical, mental, emotional, and cognitive wellbeing for a fulfilling life.

“Connection is the heartbeat of life,” says Belgin Aksoy, GWD founder. “In a fragmented, technology-driven world, #ReconnectMagenta infuses color, warmth, and vibrancy back into our relationships with Earth, our inner selves, and each other. This is our call to come together.”

Led by 120 dedicated Global Wellness Day ambassadors, key supporters, and volunteers, GWD offers a dynamic action plan to redefine wellness globally. Prestigious international hospitality brands are also joining the cause:
