Following a four-year closure and extensive resort-wide renovation, Rosewood Le Guanahani St. Barth recently re-opened its doors along with Sense, A Rosewood Spa, which is now under the direction of Fanny Martin, who was recently appointed spa director. Overseeing the day-to-day operations and overall vision of the spa, Martin will be responsible for developing innovative spa wellness offerings to enhance the overall guest experience.
“I am excited to join the incredible Rosewood Le Guanahani team and assume this position at Sense, A Rosewood Spa,” says Martin. “My vision is to develop the Sense Spa as a complete wellness destination for guests and create tailor-made programming that touches on all aspects of wellness, from fitness to spa treatments to workshops, curated to balance the senses in harmony with nature.”
Bringing 18 years of experience to her role, Martin is a seasoned spa professional who has managed and led teams in luxury resorts around world including Hotel Christopher St. Barth, Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora, and Hotel Barriére in Paris. She most recently served as spa manager at Royal Mansour and Selman Marrakech, overseeing the spa’s operations and developing locally inspired spa experiences.
A sanctuary of simplicity, the new Sense, A Rosewood Spa features four treatment rooms, two couples’ suites, and one hydrotherapy area. The spa’s treatment menu is inspired by St. Barth’s natural resources, showcasing time-honored practices and traditional healing methods.
Rosewood Le Guanahani St. Barth is situated across 18 acres on a private peninsula overlooking the beaches of Maréchal Bay and Grand Cul-de-Sac Lagoon. The resort offers the island’s only year-round, full-service hospitality experience.
