With all of the changes happening in our working and day-to-day living situations, Alessa decided it was time to put all of her favorite workspace hacks and exercises into one place, her book, The Ultimate Workspace Toolkit: Your Guide to Solving the Aches, Pains, and Productivity Problems of Your Workday(2019).Alessa has a passion for perfecting her healthy self, fully understanding the wonderful machine we live in, and passing along her knowledge. She is a UCLA graduate and a certified Pilates instructor, educator, and author. She has taught Pilates and danced professionally on the continents and owned her own Pilates studio in two countries. During her three years owning a Pilates Studio in Okinawa, Japan, she experienced firsthand what makes Okinawans some of the healthiest, longest-living people on the planet, and how Japanese culture cares for and emphasizes the physical health of its people.
