Awasi Santa Catarina, the ultra-private retreat set between Atlantic rainforest and the crystalline waters of Brazil’s Emerald Coast, has launched Active Wellness & Longevity, a modern, results-driven approach to wellbeing that goes well beyond the traditional spa escape. It marks a new chapter in the property’s evolving wellness offering following the extensive transformation of its Wellness Pavilion, alongside an exclusive partnership with La Mer, the skincare house’s only hotel collaboration in Brazil.

Built around five personalized wellness pathways – Metabolic Reset & Energy, Gut Health, Sleep & Stress Recovery, Women’s Health & Hormonal Balance, and Longevity Essentials – the new programming combines evidence-based movement, targeted nutrition, and deep recovery within Awasi’s signature fully hosted framework. Rather than following a fixed retreat schedule, each experience is tailored entirely to the guest, with private guides, curated activities, wellness treatments and functional dining woven seamlessly throughout the stay.

Designed to regulate energy, improve sleep, and soften stress response, every journey begins before arrival through bespoke pre-stay planning and extends beyond departure with practical habits guests can carry home.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF RESET

At Awasi Santa Catarina, wellness is built around the individual, not a communal program or rigid wellness agenda. Every stay unfolds entirely around the guest’s goals and pace, supported by a dedicated private guide and 4×4 vehicle, with accommodation, dining, excursions and wellness experiences all included.

The Atlantic rainforest and quiet coves of the Emerald Coast provide an environment that feels immersive rather than prescriptive – structured, but never rigid. Guided by three pillars: movement, recovery, and learning, guests leave not only feeling restored, but equipped with habits designed to last.

FIVE ACTIVE WELLNESS & LONGEVITY PATHWAYS

Available as three and four-day journeys, Sleep Well enhancements, or fully bespoke itineraries, the new programs combine movement, recovery, and nutrition in highly personalized sequences designed to deliver tangible, lasting results. Developed with guidance from Luísa Comerlato, M.D., a physician specializing in metabolism, longevity and Lifestyle Medicine with advanced studies from Harvard University focused on evidence-based wellbeing – the pathways balance scientific insight with a highly practical, lifestyle-led approach.

Metabolic Reset & Energy
Focused on metabolic flexibility and sustained energy, this pathway combines lower-glycemic, nutrient-dense dining with training, hiking, surf, snorkeling, and endurance-based movement designed to improve stamina and energy regulation. Recovery rituals including contrast therapy, massage, and yoga nidra help the body adapt, restore, and move away from cycles of exhaustion and energy spikes.

Gut Health
Designed to restore digestion, immunity, and internal balance through anti-inflammatory nutrition and nervous system-supportive recovery practices. Meals incorporate fermented foods, prebiotic-rich vegetables and ingredients selected to support the microbiome, while yoga, stand-up paddle, kayaking and reflexology encourage circulation, digestion and overall regulation.

Sleep & Stress Recovery
Created to address overstimulation and chronic stress through circadian-aligned dining, moderated stimulants, breathwork, meditation, and evening recovery rituals. Gentle coastal movement, from kayaking to hiking to paddleboarding, is intentionally restorative, helping regulate the nervous system, deepen sleep, and create steadier energy rhythms.

Women’s Health & Hormonal Balance
A dedicated pathway supporting women through changing life stages, integrating protein-forward nutrition, strength training, yoga, and restorative treatments designed to support hormone balance, metabolic stability, bone health, and long-term vitality.

Longevity Essentials
A practical immersion into the foundations of long-term wellbeing, combining aerobic movement, strength sessions, surf, sauna, breathwork, sleep rituals, and anti-inflammatory nutrition into a sustainable framework for resilience, metabolic health, and healthy aging.

BRAZIL’S ONLY HOTEL PARTNERSHIP WITH LA MER

Complementing the launch of Active Wellness & Longevity programs, Awasi Santa Catarina introduces treatments in partnership with La Mer within the newly transformed Wellness Pavilion, marking the iconic skincare house’s only hotel collaboration in Brazil.

The offering includes The Bespoke Facial, a personalized 60-minute ritual designed to sculpt, soothe, and restore radiance, and the Eye & Scalp Treatment, focused on tension release, circulation, and skin renewal. The partnership brings one of the world’s most recognized skincare brands to one of Brazil’s most discreet luxury addresses.

Awasi Santa Catarina is located in Governador Celso Ramos on Brazil’s southern coast, approximately one hour from Florianópolis International Airport. Awasi Santa Catarina’s Active Wellness journeys are available as part of the property’s fully hosted stay model, with guests able to choose from dedicated three- and four-day pathways, Sleep Well enhancements, or fully bespoke itineraries tailored to personal goals. Rates start at $2,940 per night, varying based on season and availability.
