Travelers are increasingly looking to escape the hustle of daily life and leave behind all the noise. What better way than to unwind in the tranquil mountains of western North Carolina through a new wellness retreat series? The Horse Shoe Farm, a boutique retreat in Hendersonville, North Carolina, offers an immersive escape that blends rustic farm life with wellness experiences and soulful energy. The property recently debuted the BEtreat series, which is composed of all-inclusive retreats designed to offer space for intention setting and transformative wellness experiences embracing the present moment, enhancing learning and growing, and moving you forward on your path to become your best self.

Upcoming BEtreats feature themes ranging from yoga and dance to breathwork and mindfulness. Among them are:

Beyond the retreats, The Horse Shoe Farm has a variety of other wellness experiences for guests to enjoy, including:

Self-Guided Experiences: For those seeking a deeper connection with themselves through time spent in nature, the property encourages guests to experience The Grains of Truth Silo Tower and The Labyrinth, on-site experiences aimed at inner reflection and meditation that are grounded in the physical world. Guests can also engage in The Ponder Wander, a self-guided exploration through the grounds centering on four elemental waypoints—water, air, earth, and fire.

Spa Treatments for Men: Indulge in The Sovereign Experience, a transformative spa journey crafted for the modern man. It begins with a facelift massage enriched with farm-to-face ingredients before the Hot Stone Mountain Massage and soothing Crystal Sound Therapy, where healing sound vibrations bring clarity and balance to the mind and spirit. Men can also enjoy A Primal Refresh, an invigorating facelift massage rooted in the energy of the earth and the raw power of nature. Using a blend of deep tissue techniques and tailored massage strokes, this treatment targets areas that carry stress and fatigue and smooths away the signs of aging.

Cherokee Medicine/Sweat Lodge: The Horse Shoe Farm has partnered with Yona FrenchHawk, a full-blooded Cherokee wisdom keeper and ceremonialist, to build a sweat lodge on property and be the host of community ceremonies each full and new moon. FrenchHawk was born and raised on the Qualla Indian Boundary in the Great Smoky Mountains in Cherokee, NC, and to keep his traditions alive, he is honored to bridge the ancient past to the ancient future, which is in constant need of support.

The Stable Spa: The Stable Spa, set within a former equestrian stable and positioned above a powerful energy vortex, is a retreat for the soul, offering therapies such as Cranial Sacral Therapy to soothe the nervous system and alleviate pain; Intuitive Energy Therapy for energetic clearing; and The Heart Warmer, a treatment designed to gently open the heart through hot stone therapy, aroma wraps, and sound healing. The Stable Spa’s newest journey, Inner G, guides guests through gentle and intentional touch to connect deeply with one’s inner self, aiding in emotional healing and physical release.
