Designed to help wellness seekers reconnect their minds, bodies, and senses to the environment around them, Nature’s Resonance treatments by ESPA rely on binaural beats, known to reduce anxiety, increase focus, promote creativity, help manage pain, and lower stress, to create a fully immersive experience that counteracts today’s fast pace of life. Created exclusively for One&Only Resorts, the treatments incorporate eco-therapy and vibrational energy. The idea behind the offerings is that everything on the planet and in our bodies is communicated through vibrations. Small vibrations take place within each of our cells, contributing to our physical and emotional state. Stress and anxiety can disrupt our vibrational patterns, but the sound vibrations of music can also alter such patterns. The Nature’s Resonance treatments seek to retune the body and restore harmony.
How it Works
Each of the treatments uses Binaural Beats, an auditory therapy that is created by playing one tonal frequency in the left ear and a slightly different frequency in the right ear. It is the difference in tones that creates an auditory illusion of a third tone in the brain. Created with the help of composer Alex Gregson at 344 Audio, the Binaural Beats used in these treatments are layered with bespoke music inspired by the One&Only Resort in which they’re offered. Guests don Bose headphones to hear the music.
Available at One&Only Reethi Rah, Maldives, and One&Only Royal Mirage, Dubai, the Nature’s Resonance treatments will continue to be rolled out at One&Only Resorts in 2022. Guests can choose from among the following:
Sound Experience (30 minutes)
This immersive sound experience harnesses the power of sound wave therapy to transport guests on a meditative journey that energizes the mind, body, and spirit.
Sound & Body Experience (60 minutes)
Exploring the boundaries of the senses, this treatment pairs the rhythms and flow of the soundscape with the flow of massage movements across the body to produce a hypnotic soothing state that leaves guests feeling in greater harmony with themselves and connected to the natural beauty of the world around them.
Sound, Face & Body Experience (90 minutes)
This treatment bathes guests in cleansing vibrations while also using the restorative power of touch to the face and body, leaving guests feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
