Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC, recently reopened its newly expanded and updated spa following a multi-million-dollar renovation. The extensive revamp reflects the hotel’s commitment to providing guests with tranquility and rejuvenation in the heart of the nation’s capital.

The spa renovation, which began on January 1, 2024, has turned the space into a serene and sophisticated haven. Inspired by nature, the design features rounded contours, earth tones, and ambient lighting, enveloping guests in calmness upon arrival. Newly enhanced features include state-of-the-art treatment rooms, including a dedicated couples’ massage room with a deep soaking bathtub for two, a co-ed lounge, and an updated indoor swimming pool.

“At Four Seasons Washington, DC, we believe that our spa is not just a place, but an experience,” says Marc Bromley, regional vice president and general manager. “With this renovation, we have reimagined every aspect of our spa to ensure that it not only meets but exceeds the expectations of our guests.”

Central to the spa’s appeal is its team of therapists, many of whom have been with the hotel for over a decade. These dedicated professionals are committed to providing guests with personalized treatments that address their unique needs and preferences. From traditional massages to innovative wellness therapies, guests can expect nothing short of exceptional service that leaves them feeling refreshed.

Guests will have the opportunity to experience Mind Sync Technology, which relies on state-of-the-art equipment connected to the treatment tables. It uses advanced technology to synchronize brainwaves, inducing a deep state of relaxation and mental clarity. Offered as either a stand-alone treatment or incorporated into massages, this innovation enhances any experience through vibrational wellness and meditation sessions. The Four Seasons spa is currently the only spa in the U.S. to leverage the Mind Sync Technology. Among the new services is the IonixLight Facial, a cutting-edge skincare treatment that harnesses the power of LED light therapy to revitalize the skin, leaving it looking radiant and youthful.

“We cannot wait to welcome back our regulars and for new guests to discover the re-envisioned Four Seasons Spa,” says Erin Meyer, director of spa and fitness. “This is such a special location, tucked away in the heart of Georgetown, and we’re thrilled to introduce this spectacular new space and new, cutting-edge offerings to our guests.”

As part of the renovation, the spa will also introduce a unique “night spa” concept later this summer, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy private spa experiences after hours. With the ability to privatize relaxation lounges and the spa pool, guests can create their own exclusive retreat and indulge in pampering treatments in complete privacy and comfort.
