Grand Hotel Fasano, the five-star, family-owned hotel nestled on the shores of Lake Garda, recently reopened for the 2026 season, launching a range of new offerings and renovations. This season, the Leading Hotels of the World property introduces a lakefront beach bar, two meeting spaces, special events, and refreshed menus across its award-winning restaurants, bars, and spa, while remaining open through the Christmas and New Year holidays for the first time.
New Spa Offerings
Those in search of a restorative lakeside stay need look no further than Grand Hotel Fasano, which recently unveiled a complete renovation of its renowned AQVA Spa and Wellness Centre. AQVA features two seasonal treatment menus for 2026—Summer and Winter—with several treatments designed specifically to treat seasonal skin concerns. Summer offerings include a new Hydra 4HA facial with BP3, tri complex, and peptides to combat sun damaged, dry skin, while the winter menu will include additions such as a warming Hot Stone Massage.
Alongside its luxurious treatment rooms, the spa offers an expansive indoor and outdoor swimming pool connected via tunnel passage. Guests can enjoy hydromassage, a sauna, Turkish baths, a state-of-the-art gym, and a serene spa garden on the lake.
New Executive Chef and F&B Menus
Valerio Dallamano was also appointed to the position of Executive Chef of Magnolia and Osteria Il Pescatore restaurants. In this pivotal role, he will oversee and curate the culinary direction for both signature dining venues, as well as contribute to the hotel’s broader culinary programming, ensuring that Grand Hotel Fasano continues to be a true gastronomic destination for both guests and the Lake Garda community.
Chef Dallamano brings to Grand Hotel Fasano a refined approach that balances creativity, tradition, and local inspiration. At Magnolia and Osteria Il Pescatore, he will introduce new menus that celebrate the bounty of Lake Garda, emphasizing seasonal ingredients, artisanal products, and contemporary techniques that elevate the region’s culinary heritage. Osteria Il Pescatore’s new spring menu showcases the very best of local produce, including the freshest of fish from Lake Garda itself. Meanwhile at Magnolia, those in search of a light and perfectly balanced option can opt for a bespoke salad or select from a range of fresh fish or pasta of the day, all served beneath the shade of 200-year-old magnolia trees.
Chef Dallamano will join chef Maurizio Bufi, executive chef at Grand Hotel Fasano’s one-Michelin star Il Fagiano restaurant, further elevating the hotel’s reputation as one of Northern Italy’s premier gastronomic destinations. Stand out dishes from chef Bufi’s spring 2026 menu include lamb with sea lemons, asparagus, and broad beans and pigeon with paerà sauce and lampascioni onions.
Meanwhile at La Terrazza and Rama’s Lounge Bar, Grand Hotel Fasano’s award-winning bar manager Rama Redzepi has revealed his latest cocktail offering: The Seven Wonders of Lake Garda. Each creation on the new menu is inspired by a different area of the lake, from the elegance of Salò to the golden sunshine of Limone del Garda. All harness the very best local ingredients, including Garda olive oil, Malcesine truffles, Riva saffron, and Limone citrus fruits.
New Beach Bar and Meeting Rooms
June will see the opening of a brand-new Beach Bar, where guests can enjoy cocktails and light bites in the beauty of Grand Hotel Fasano’s scenic gardens overlooking the lake. In September, the hotel will unveil two new multifunctional meeting spaces, available for corporate and leisure guests alike for the hosting of private events and conferences.
Extended Season
This year, Grand Hotel Fasano will welcome guests for an extended season, closing on January 6, 2027*, remaining open over Christmas and New Year for the very first time. The extended season will offer guests the chance to experience the magic of Lake Garda’s slow season, with its mild Mediterranean microclimate, resplendent autumnal colors, and the calm and relaxing atmosphere that follows the peak season.
From November 14, Grand Hotel Fasano will transform into a true festive fairy-tale on the lake, where lavish decorations, sparkling lights, and festive scents will create an atmosphere of warmth, joy, and timeless elegance. Guests can expect a series of spectacular Christmas events and offerings throughout this period, from the lighting ceremony on November 14 to festive dining, cocktails, live music, and more.
