Following a multi-million-dollar renovation, the Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort, Spa & Casino recently introduced ZoiA Spa, an ideal place to unwind. The new spa is focused on energy, purity, serenity, and devotion.

A wellness and wellbeing ambassador has been appointed to help guests work on three key areas: feel, fuel, and function. The ambassador’s role is to create and enhance the guest experiences related to wellness and mindfulness, such as beach yoga and land and water excursions.

Other highlights include the Massage den Awa ($195, 45 minutes), a unique offering performed in the new adults-only Trankilo pool. It’s a gentle form of body therapy that evokes deep relaxation by combining elements of massage, shiatsu, and muscle stretching.

ZoiA Spa also features the Rise and Shine program, which involves various daily classes, including Aerial Yoga, meditation, and Tai Chi. Moonlight yoga on the beach is another option that helps guests restore energy and celebrate the beauty of the full moon. It is only offered when a full moon is present.

The Aruba Sun Facial ($155, 45 minutes) and the Aruba Luffa ($155, 45 minutes) rely on local ingredients, such as Arubian aloe and locally grown luffa, also known as loofah. While most treatments can be experienced in one of the six treatment rooms, there are also a number of outdoor offerings that can be had in the resort’s new outdoor private cabanas.

Situated near the Trankilo pool, the 10 spacious cabanas can accommodate up to six people and feature a private entrance. The 240-square-foot cabanas come with a semi-private shower; a Smart TV; a Bose Bluetooth sound system; a mini bar stocked with water, sodas, local beers, wine, and crudites; aloe products; and more. There is even a private butler for guests renting the cabanas.

Another fun wellness offering is a weekly Master Mixology class. It features Green Bar Distillery organic liquors at Palm Beach Bar for those interested in learning to make healthy cocktails. Thanks to a host of island-inspired offerings, the resort and new spa provide an ideal place to relax or rejuvenate, whatever your body and soul require.
