Six Senses Kyoto recently unveiled new programming focusing on women’s wellness, designed to support physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing at every stage of life. Rooted in Six Senses’ integrated philosophy and tailored to Kyoto’s cultural traditions, the programming blends functional health insights with Eastern healing practices, creating a restorative sanctuary focused on long-term health.

Offerings for Each Life Stage

Expectant mothers can now take advantage of tailored maternity-wellness experiences, including the Pregnancy Watsu Treatment and Pregnancy Body Treatment. Available in Kyoto’s only dedicated Watsu pool, the Pregnancy Watsu Treatment is designed to promote deep relaxation, reduce pregnancy discomfort, and support emotional wellbeing. The Pregnancy Body Treatment is an advanced full-body massage customized to each individual, combining Eastern and Western techniques with gentle stretching and nurturing strokes

To support women balancing self-care and family time, a host of bonding experiences are also available. The menu features treatments designed to be shared, such as the Junior Body Treatments, Foot Mapping, and other parent and child services.

Offerings for Individual Needs

Because burnout and stress management remain a constant concern for many women, the spa offers Six Senses’ original two-, four-, and six-day Sleep Program to optimize rest. There are also biohacking menus highlighting innovative, science-based options for smart and efficient recovery.

To help women build or maintain a personalized wellness routine, Six Senses Kyoto provides guests with a non-invasive wellness screening to better understand their current health and individual needs. The Wellness Pass also offers private sessions in personal training, mindfulness, yoga, Pilates, and access to the wellness facilities, including the pool, Japanese bathhouse, sauna, cold plunge, and gym.

Women’s Wellness Awareness Month at Six Senses Kyoto

Throughout March, Six Senses Kyoto will spotlight women’s wellbeing with a curated series of immersive experiences, including sound healing, sleep-focused workshops, menopause-supportive movement, guided runs, and an International Women’s Day collaboration with Yojoy by Wacoal, featuring self-care and femcare workshops, body-type assessments, and yoga inspired by Japan’s 24 micro-seasons.

Together, these initiatives reinforce Six Senses Kyoto’s commitment to delivering holistic, science-informed wellness experiences for women, thoughtfully adapted to the rhythm and culture of Kyoto.
