The Spa at The Wharf, a new full-service spa concept in partnership with ISM Spa, has opened its doors at InterContinental Washington, D.C. – The Wharf. The spa offers an oasis from the surrounding bustling city, boasting views of the Potomac River with a core emphasis on customizable treatments using signature products by Privai

Situated on the luxury hotel’s third floor, the 4,000-square-foot spa offers floor-to-ceiling views of the river from the Couples Room and Relaxation Room. The spa also features four treatment rooms, a nail salon, and a luxury locker room with shower facilities.

The treatment menu will put an emphasis on the clients’ needs and preferences with all treatments being customizable, from the signature 60- or 90-minute massage to the 60-minute facial. Guests won’t select their services from a list, but instead will speak to their therapist about their wellness goals and areas of preference to ensure their needs are met. Additionally, the spa offers a selection of add-on services, such as detoxifying dry brush exfoliation and scalp therapy for massages and LED Therapy and corrective peels for facials. Manicure, pedicure, and waxing services are all offered at The Spa at The Wharf, as well.

“We are thrilled to announce that InterContinental Washington D.C. – The Wharf is now once again operating an all–encompassing wellness experience for our guests and local residents to enjoy that they truly won’t find elsewhere on The Wharf,” says Catherine Hawkins, director of sales and marketing. “This new addition will further enhance our guest experience, maintaining our position as the leading luxury hotel at The Wharf.”
