Taking place October 23 – 27, 2025, Travelgems is hosting a transformative five-day retreat with Deepak Chopra, a world-renowned pioneer in integrative medicine, consciousness exploration, and personal transformation, at W Algarve in Southern Portugal. Participants are invited to explore the interplay between human existence and the universe. With Chopra’s guidance, the retreat will offer a holistic blend of practices aimed at reframing perspectives on life and transcending limits to explore the interconnected web of being. His teachings will create a transformative space for personal growth and spiritual awakening, making this retreat a unique opportunity for those seeking to embrace personal wellness and renewal. Each day of the retreat will be complemented by yoga sessions with Sarah Platt-Finger, director of Chopra Yoga at The Gaja Collective and co-founder of ISHTA Yoga, and reflective activities led by Niki Smirni, founder of Travelgems.
W Algarve features 134 rooms and 83 residences with sweeping ocean views. Guests enjoy an immersive experience through Portuguese-inspired décor throughout the property, exceptional dining led by executive chef Andrea Ciuccio, and wellness-focused facilities beyond the retreat, such as the Away Spa and Techno Gym, with a weekly schedule of activities including yoga, cliff walking, Pilates and more.

A Yoga Retreat for a Full-System Reset
An island sanctuary off the east coast of Malaysia, Tanjong Jara Resort is built on the foundation of the Malay concept of Sucimurni. Emphasizing the purity of spirit, health, and wellbeing, the idea behind Sucimurni is to listen to the body and mind—and knowing when to take a pause. Exhaustion, detachment, and lack of motivation are the root cause of burnout, which can be a chronic detriment to the body’s nervous and immune systems.
From October 17 to 19, Tanjong Jara Resort will host its Sucimurni Retreat, a guided yoga retreat to offer a supportive environment for turning inwards, cultivating an environment where guests can take a full pause and ask the body what it needs. The environment and instruction will help guests recalibrate and rebalance, silencing life’s constant stimulation, and pulling the breaks on the human state of overdrive. The Sucimurni Retreat Package includes two nights’ accommodation, daily meals, as well as a number of yoga, workshop, and exercise sessions led by Sandra Woo.

Transformative Wellness Retreat in the Okavango Delta
Natural Selection offers travelers a renewed sense of wellbeing through a six-day transformative wellness journey guided by seasoned practitioner Robyn Sheldon, in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Sheldon dedicates each day to nature-integrated healing courses, ensuring guests leave feeling rejuvenated. This unique wellness safari begins in Maun, where guests meet Sheldon before flying to North Island Okavango. At this camp, Sheldon customizes therapy practices for each guest through private sessions, amid the diverse landscapes, including floodplains, savannahs, and woodlands. Days two and three offer a slow peaceful start, as guests are led through various wellness activities, incorporating transformative healing, shamanic massage, and soul integration sessions. Between sessions, guests are invited to explore the surrounding landscapes through game drives and mokoro rides to spot big cats, buffalo, and aardvarks.
On day three, the journey continues with a flight to Tuludi in the Khwai Private Reserve. Here, more private sessions will take place, often by the private plunge pool. On the final day, guests will enjoy one last session with Sheldon before heading back to Maun, carrying the healing lessons home.
