The 2025 GSN Sustainability Summit concluded in true GSN fashion—with connection, celebration, and a deep sense of purpose. GSN Planet recently honored the winners of the 2025/2026 GSN Sustainability Awards during its annual Awards Gala, recognizing leaders who are redefining what sustainability looks like in the spa and wellness industry.

This year’s winners are:

The Spa at Spruce Peak (Stowe, VT), recipient of The Michael Stusser Award for Sustainable Spa/Wellness Facility

Force of Nature, recipient of The Tara Grodjesk Award for Sustainable Innovator

True Botanicals, recipient of The Tracie Wertz Award for Sustainable Newcomer

Acrely Farms, recipient of The Lisa Henry Jacobs Award for Sustainable Trailblazer

“These honorees embody the true spirit of GSN—passionate, innovative, and deeply committed to protecting our planet,” says Maggy Dunphy, GSN board president. “Their work reminds us that sustainability is not just a goal but a journey we all share.”

These awards reflected this year’s Summit theme, “The Power of One,” which celebrated the idea that a single action, idea, or individual can spark lasting change. Each winner exemplifies how one purposeful decision—whether it’s a new innovation, a shift in operations, or a commitment to transparency—can inspire others and create meaningful impact throughout the industry.

“Each winner represents a story of creativity and courage—brands and people taking real steps toward a more sustainable future,” says Dara Mayhew, GSN executive director. “We’re so proud to celebrate them and the ripple effect their work creates throughout our community.”

The GSN Sustainability Awards honor excellence across multiple categories, recognizing both long-standing leaders and emerging changemakers. The awards were presented as part of GSN’s Sustainability Summit, held October 19–22 at the Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, CA.
