“Jacqueline has demonstrated an excellent ability to bring spa and wellness concepts to life, and I am thrilled to see her assume this new position at Miraval Resorts,” says Simon Marxer, associate vice president of spa and wellbeing at Miraval Resorts & Spas. “I look forward to seeing Jacqueline develop her expertise to further the brand’s mission of helping guests create a life in balance through mindfulness.”

Having most recently served as general manager at Miraval Life in Balance Spa at Monarch Beach Resort (Dana Point, CA), Berry introduced new signature spa services and creative expression classes, a mindful eating experience, and launched more than 30 new fitness, yoga, and meditation classes. In her new role, Berry plans to collaborate with each property to reinforce the brand’s mission and honor the past by supporting Miraval Resorts & Spas’ signature treatments.

“Miraval Resorts & Spas has been a leader in the spa and wellness sector for over 25 years and has pioneered so many wellbeing concepts,” says Berry. “I am delighted to work with the outstanding specialists and utilize their unique expertise to deliver a memorable experience for future guests.”

Before joining the Miraval brand and prior to her role at Monarch Beach Resort, Berry worked across the spa and wellness industries, serving as the spa director for several reputable brands including Lake Austin Spa Resort, Canyon Ranch, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises. She began her professional career as a massage therapist with Steiner Leisure Limited as the youngest crew member on board the Sun Princess. Her passion for spa and wellbeing began at the age of 16 when Berry was involved in a car accident and treated her injuries with massage therapy. She was so moved by the healing power of touch that she became a licensed massage therapist and is still licensed today.

In her leisure time, Berry enjoys bringing wellness into her life by enjoying nature with her dog and taking dance classes. Berry is also certified to teach group fitness and Zumba. Additionally, she enjoys making jewelry, traveling, and spending time seaside.
