What does wellness mean to you?
To me, wellness means feeling aligned in both body and mind. It’s having the energy, clarity, and resilience to show up fully for myself, my family, my friends, and my work.
What are your favorite things to do to maintain your personal wellbeing?
I love journaling, exercising, and going on long walks with friends. I also regularly cycle through different peptides that have helped me reduce inflammation, improve gut health, and boost immunity. They’ve made a noticeable difference, and I highly recommend them.
Is there a specific fitness activity that you love and why?
I love moving my body in a variety of ways, including lifting weights, doing reformer Pilates, and practicing hot yoga. But, if I had to choose one, it would be reformer Pilates. I love the emphasis on mind-to-muscle connection, and I always leave feeling strong, centered, and empowered in a way that feels both powerful and feminine.
What is your favorite healthy food, and do you have a favorite way of preparing it?
I’m a big fan of cauliflower crust pizza. I usually top it with cashew or traditional cheese, chicken sausage for protein, arugula for some fresh greens, and dates for a surprising touch of sweetness.
What is your favorite healthy beverage (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), and do you have any insider tips for preparing it?
Matcha is my favorite daily ritual. I prepare mine with Elmhurst cashew milk, a few drops of monk fruit for sweetness, and a scoop of collagen for added benefits. The real game-changer is using a high-quality matcha powder, which I particularly enjoy from The Folk.
What is your greatest wellness achievement?
After struggling with PCOS and weight loss for over a decade, I’ve finally reached a place of balance. Achieving and maintaining a healthy weight has been a huge milestone. Prioritizing my nervous system, getting consistent rest, and approaching myself with kindness helped lower inflammation and regulate my appetite. It’s been a long journey but an incredibly rewarding one.
What person in wellness do you most admire and why?
Melissa Wood Tepperberg. She’s grounded in who she is and leads with vulnerability and authenticity. Watching her evolve and grow in real time has been incredibly inspiring and has encouraged me to stay true to my own voice and inner knowing.
What is the best piece of wellness advice you’ve ever received and from whom?
“Use your common sense to eat well and go to bed early.” My mom has been saying this since I was a kid. It took a while for it to become a habit, but now more than ever—especially with all the information out there—I believe that the simplest advice is often the most profound.
What do you think is the most exciting wellness innovation you’ve recently discovered?
EBO2, a cutting-edge blood filtration treatment, is incredibly promising. It reduces systemic inflammation and oxidative stress, and I’ve seen firsthand how it boosts energy, speeds recovery, and enhances immune resilience. It’s one of the most exciting tools we have for long-term vitality, and I am so excited to be offering this treatment at Humanaut Health Palm Beach Gardens.
What is your idea of balanced healthy happiness?
To me, it means allowing my wellness habits to support the life I want to live—not define it. It’s about having energy, maintaining flexible routines, and giving myself grace when things don’t go perfectly. True balance is being attuned to my needs and choosing what feels good and sustainable.
What do you think is the most overused word or words in wellness?
Right now, I believe it’s protein. While it’s certainly important, the conversation can get overly rigid. Instead of obsessing over hitting a specific number of grams each day, I believe in prioritizing whole, nutrient-rich foods and listening to your body. Wellness shouldn’t be about perfection, rather practicing it in a way that feels both nourishing and sustainable.
Do you have a secret health or wellness tip you’d like to share?
While not exactly a “secret,” berberine is a powerful yet underrated supplement that supports healthy blood sugar levels and gut health, two key areas that impact overall wellbeing, especially for young women.
What is your favorite place for a healthy vacation or escape?
California is my go-to, specifically Santa Barbara and Laguna Beach. The peaceful energy, natural beauty, and slower pace make it easy to unwind and disconnect. I love starting my days with a hike or beach walk, followed by a smoothie or matcha and time spent exploring local wellness spots. It always leaves me feeling recharged and inspired.
Is there a wellness company or brand that truly impresses you and why?
Love Wellness, founded by Lo Bosworth, stands out to me. The company creates effective, approachable products that support women’s health holistically. I appreciate how it addresses gut health, hormone balance, and vaginal care with a tone that’s empowering, friendly, and rooted in education. The brand’s personality is fun, relatable, and infused with Lo’s own voice, which helps it feel more like a trusted friend than a clinical brand. And, the accessible price point makes high-quality wellness support more attainable, making it a perfect fusion of education, inclusivity, and authenticity.
What is your favorite self-care routine?
My morning routine is my self-care routine, and it really sets the tone for the entire day. I begin by taking my supplements and making a matcha latte, a grounding ritual that brings a sense of calm before everything gets going. I then head outside to soak up the sunlight and let it into my eyes while I read, meditate, or journal. Even just 15 minutes of quiet, intentional time makes a noticeable difference in how I show up for the day. I also stay off social media for the first hour after waking up, a simple boundary that helps protect my peace and start the day feeling centered rather than reactive.
What’s your go-to for de-stressing?
Acupuncture instantly shifts my energy, helping me release tension and reset. I always leave feeling calmer and more balanced.
What aspect of your wellbeing do you struggle with the most, or would most like to improve?
I’ve long struggled with ADHD and brain fog, and I’m always experimenting with ways to support better focus, mental clarity, and a deeper sense of calm.
What wellness-related books or authors do you recommend and why?
Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones is one I constantly revisit, and I’ve also been loving Almost 30: A Definitive Guide to a Life You Love for the Next Decade and Beyond by Krista Williams and Lindsey Simcik. It’s a beautiful guide for navigating personal growth, especially during major life transitions.
How do you celebrate small victories?
A nice dinner and drinks with my husband. It’s simple but meaningful. Celebrating together always feels special.
What brings you joy?
Reflecting on how far I’ve come and thinking about how proud my younger self would be. She turned pain into power and stayed true to her path, even when it was hard. That perspective brings me so much gratitude and joy.
