A sought-after wellness destination for more than 25 years, Miraval Resorts & Spas recently debuted its first-ever wellbeing wedding offering, the Miraval mindful wedding. The multi-day, immersive wedding experience is customized to honor the couple’s intentions. A customized wellness itinerary is created for each wedding with programming and support from a spiritual guide to help each couple learn how to design a wedding that mirrors the process of creating a life together.
“Through the mindful offerings available as part of Miraval Mindful Weddings, couples are given tools focused on better understanding the dynamics of their relationship, making decisions together, mitigating conflict, and practicing gratitude for each other,” says Rudi Bach, relationship guide and sound meditation practitioner at Miraval Berkshires. “Not only will couples leave with tools that can benefit their relationship in the long run, but with practical skills like breathing techniques to combat stressors on their wedding day. Prior to the ceremony, couples can participate in a two-to-three-day immersion to set intentions and prepare for the celebration. The idea is to enjoy the experience without distractions from digital devices and social media. Couples may also work with a dedicated event planning team to customize the itinerary based on their intentions, from strengthening their connection and wellbeing to living in the moment.
After the immersive experience, couples are better equipped to welcome loved ones with open hearts and clear minds. As part of the wellbeing wedding journey, couples and their guests can enjoy challenge course activities, culinary workshops, meditation, forest bathing, and more.
